The Western Promenade Historic District is an historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is bounded by the Western Promenade and Bramhall, Brackett, Emery, and Danforth Streets. It includes a number of homes dating from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

The Gothic House also known as the John J. Brown House is an historic house on Spring Street in Portland, Maine. Located in the West End, it was built in 1845[2] and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.[3]
The Adam P. Leighton House is an historic colonial revival house on the Western Promenade. It was built from 1902-03 with Frederick A. Tompson as the architect.[2]
The John Calvin Stevens House is an historic house located on Bowdoin St. in the historic district. It was the home of noted architect John Calvin Stevens House.[2]
The Western Cemetery was the primary cemetery for Portland during the early and mid-nineteenth century.[2]
